Cost estimation
Build the estimate in groups and lines, with a quantity and unit price or a fixed amount. Once reviewed, it is approved as the baseline estimate and becomes the project’s budget. You then track committed, invoiced and forecast costs against the same lines.

Groups, lines and prices
Arrange estimate lines in nested groups, with quantity, unit and unit price or a fixed amount. Totals roll up group by group, and each estimate has its own currency and VAT setting.
Approve, lock and revise
Submit the estimate for review and approve it as the baseline estimate. It is then locked. If it needs to change, you create a revision, and the history shows who approved it and when, as well as how the budget changed.
The estimate becomes the budget
Every priced line becomes a budget item. The same table then shows the original and current budget, approved variations, committed, invoiced, forecast and variance for each line.
