Purchase terms

Ordering and administering Fidrel project subscriptions in Ireland, as a consumer or as a business.

Fidrel is available to businesses, organisations and individuals. Where the law treats consumers differently, these terms say so.

Contract and customer

Orders are placed with Fidrel AB. You can buy as a private individual or for a business or organisation. To order, you choose the project and billing interval, enter your billing details and payment method, and confirm the order; until you confirm, you can go back and correct any details you have entered. Before you confirm, checkout shows the project, price, billing interval, VAT and total. The contract is concluded in English when you confirm the order, and we confirm it to you by email. The person ordering for an organisation must be authorised to do so. For business customers, individually agreed terms take priority over these standard terms; for consumers, no agreement removes rights you have by law.

Price and VAT

Prices are per project, per month or per year, in euro. Prices on the pricing page exclude VAT; checkout calculates the VAT and shows the total price including VAT before you confirm the order. For consumers in Ireland, VAT is charged under the EU place-of-supply rules for electronically supplied services, which normally means Irish VAT at the standard rate (currently 23%), declared through the EU One-Stop Shop (OSS) where Fidrel AB is registered for it. If your business is registered for VAT in Ireland and gives a valid Irish VAT number, no VAT is charged and you account for Irish VAT under the reverse charge. Without a valid VAT number, VAT is charged as for a consumer. Additions require a separate order.

Free first month

When the offer is shown at checkout, the project includes one free month. A card is needed to start it; nothing is charged until the free month ends, checkout shows the date and amount of the first charge, and we email you before the free month ends. Cancel before that date and you are not charged. If you are a consumer, your right of withdrawal applies alongside the free month.

Renewal and payment

Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period, monthly or yearly, until cancelled. Card payments are taken through Stripe at the start of each period. Private individuals pay by card. Businesses and organisations with a company number may pay on invoice where offered, 30 days net unless agreed otherwise; the project opens when the invoice is issued, stays open during the payment term and is locked if the invoice is not paid by its due date.

Changes and cancellation

You can cancel at any time under Manage plan in Fidrel. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period and stops the next renewal; the project stays available until then. Paid periods are not refunded in part, except where you withdraw within the withdrawal period or the law gives you a right to a refund. We tell you before a price change takes effect; it applies from your next period and never to a period already paid, and you can cancel before it takes effect.

Consumer right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer, you can withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving a reason. The page Right of withdrawal and cancellation explains how, what happens if you asked the service to start during that period, and includes the model withdrawal form.

AI capacity packs

Extra AI capacity can be bought for a project in packs. A pack is used only once the project’s AI capacity for the month has been used, lasts until it is used but no more than 12 months from purchase, and belongs to the project; anything unused when it expires lapses. A pack is paid for when bought and is non-refundable, except where mandatory law gives a right to a refund. A consumer who asks for the capacity to be supplied straight away thereby loses the right of withdrawal for that pack.

Billing interval

Monthly subscriptions can be cancelled at any time and run until the end of the paid period. Annual subscriptions cover 12 months, billed in advance, at approximately 10% less than 12 monthly payments. Cancellation stops the next renewal; project access remains available during the paid period.
