Cost estimation
Build your estimate in groups and line items, with quantity and unit price or a fixed amount. Once reviewed, it’s approved as the baseline estimate and becomes the project’s budget. From then on, you track committed, invoiced, and forecast costs on the same line items.

Groups, line items, and pricing
Organize line items into nested groups, with quantity, unit, and unit price or a fixed amount. Totals roll up group by group, and every estimate has its own currency and sales tax setting.
Approve, lock, and revise
Submit the estimate for review and approve it as the baseline estimate. It’s then locked. If it needs to change, you create a revision, and the history shows who approved it, when, and how the budget changed.
The estimate becomes the budget
Every priced line item becomes a budget item. The same table then shows original and current budget, approved change orders, committed, invoiced, estimate at completion, and variance for each line item.
