Contract and customer
Orders are placed with Fidrel AB, whose name, address and contact details appear in the company details below. Both consumers and businesses may order. Before you order, checkout shows the project, a description of the subscription, the price, currency, billing interval, any taxes and the total, with these terms, and lets you review and correct your order and accept or decline it. After you order, we email you an order confirmation which, together with these terms, is your copy of the agreement; you can print or save these terms from this page. The person ordering for an organization must be authorized to do so. Individually agreed terms take priority over these standard terms, subject to applicable law.
Price and taxes
Prices are per project, per month or per year, in Canadian dollars (CAD), and exclude sales taxes. Fidrel AB is established in Sweden and is not registered for the Goods and Services Tax or Harmonized Sales Tax (GST/HST), the Quebec Sales Tax (QST) or any provincial sales tax (PST, or RST in Manitoba), so at present it does not charge these taxes, and the total shown at checkout is the amount you pay. If you buy for a business, you account for any GST/HST, QST or PST that applies to the purchase yourself, by self-assessment where the law requires it. If Fidrel registers for any of these taxes in the future, it will charge that tax from then on; checkout and these terms will say so, and existing subscribers will be told by email before the tax applies to their next billing period. Business customers may enter their GST/HST registration number, and Quebec businesses their QST number, at checkout or under Manage plan where the form offers it. Additions require a separate order.
Automatic renewal
Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period, every month or every year as you choose, and your payment method is charged the price then in effect, plus any taxes Fidrel charges at that time as described under Price and taxes, until you cancel. You can cancel online at any time under Manage plan in Fidrel, the billing settings for your project. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then. Your order confirmation includes these renewal terms and how to cancel.
Free first month
When the offer is shown at checkout, the first project you own includes one free month. A payment card is required to start it, and checkout shows the date and amount of the first charge. You can cancel at any time during the free month under Manage plan, without being charged. Unless you cancel before the free month ends, your paid subscription starts automatically and your card is charged on that date and at each renewal. We email you before the free month ends.
Price changes and invoices
We tell you by email before a price change takes effect, at least 30 days in advance where the law requires it, as in Quebec. The new price applies from your next billing period, never to a period already paid, and you can cancel before it takes effect without any charge. Private persons pay by card only. Businesses and organizations may pay by invoice where offered, due 30 days net unless agreed otherwise; the project opens when the invoice is issued, stays open during the payment term and is locked if the invoice is not paid by its due date.
Consumer rights
If you are a consumer, your provincial consumer protection law, such as Ontario’s Consumer Protection Act or Quebec’s Consumer Protection Act, may give you rights for internet or distance contracts that these terms cannot remove, including the right to cancel the contract if we did not disclose the required information or did not send you a copy of the agreement, as described under Cancellation and refunds.
Billing interval
Monthly subscriptions can be cancelled at any time and run until the end of the paid period. Annual subscriptions cover 12 months, billed in advance, at approximately 10% less than 12 monthly payments. Cancellation stops the next renewal; project access remains available during the paid period.
