Cancel anytime

You can cancel a monthly or yearly subscription online at any time under Manage plan in Fidrel, or by emailing [email protected] from an administrator’s address with the organization and project name. We confirm the cancellation by email. There is no cancellation fee.

When cancellation takes effect

Cancellation stops the next renewal and takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep access to the project until then. If you cancel before the free first month ends, you are not charged.

Statutory cancellation rights for consumers

Provincial consumer protection laws on internet and distance contracts, for example in Ontario and Quebec, let a consumer cancel the contract if the supplier did not disclose the information the law requires before the contract was made, did not give an express opportunity to accept, decline or correct it, or did not deliver a copy of the contract within the required time. The time limits depend on your province; in Ontario and Quebec, for example, you may generally cancel within 7 days after receiving the copy of the contract if the required information was missing, or within 30 days after the contract was made if no copy was delivered. To cancel on these grounds, tell us in writing, for example by email to [email protected]. We refund the amounts paid within the time the law requires, generally 15 days, and if you paid by credit card and we do not refund you in time, you may ask your card issuer to reverse the charge.

Refunds

Apart from these statutory rights, fees for a billing period that has started are non-refundable, and we do not give partial refunds for unused time, including for the rest of a paid year. We refund charges made in error, as described under Refunds, and wherever the law requires a refund.

Your project content

Export what you need before the paid period ends. What happens to project content afterwards follows your agreement and the retention rules in the privacy notice.
