Risk register

Bring the project’s risks together in one register. Each risk is assessed for likelihood and impact on a five-point scale and is given a risk rating, an owner and a mitigation with a due date. The risk matrix shows where the risks sit.

  1. Assess on one scale

Likelihood and impact are each scored from one to five. The risk rating is calculated automatically and gives the level: low, medium, high or critical.

  2. Owner and mitigation

Every risk has a risk owner, a mitigation and a date by which the mitigation is due. Its status moves from identified and assessed to mitigating and closed.

  3. Matrix and register

The matrix shows how many open risks sit in each cell. The register lists the highest risk rating first and can be searched and filtered by status and category.

Ownership

The risk owner is told

When someone becomes a risk owner, they get a notification in Fidrel that opens the risk, and their open risks are listed under “Assigned to me” on the Home page. The categories cover the usual areas of a construction project, such as health and safety, programme, cost and quality.

  • Risk rating 1–25 in four levels
  • Search by risk, owner or mitigation
  • Every change in the project’s history
