Fidrel

Fidrel AI

Answers with sources today. Work done, step by step.

Fidrel AI is not a chatbot beside the project. It works in the project’s own information with your permissions, shows its sources, and is being extended step by step to write documents and propose actions that you approve.

Fidrel AI is included in every project. The project’s administrator can turn it off.

  • Answers with sources

An answer about your project ends with where it comes from. One click opens the document, the folder or the issue.

  • Your permissions, nothing more

The assistant reads as you. What you cannot open, it cannot see: other projects, other organisations, locked folders.

  • You approve. Fidrel carries it out.

Today the assistant only reads: it cannot create, change or delete anything. When it starts proposing actions, you are the one who approves them.

The way forward, step by step

Each step opens in pilot first and then to customers. No step goes past your permissions, and no date is promised.

  1. Questions with sources

    Available

Ask in your own words and get answers from the project’s documents, folders, RFIs and issues, with links to the sources.

  2. The project’s registers

    Available

The assistant reads RFIs, issues, risks, to-dos, variations, deviations, meetings and decisions, and the state of the programme, and shows the steps it took.

  3. Documents as drafts

    Available

A status report and meeting minutes are written as a Word file from the project’s own records. You preview, adjust and save the draft in the right folder.

  4. The text inside the files

    Available

Answers from the content of PDF files with a text layer, Word files and text files, with the document, its revision and its page as the source.

  5. Proposals you approve

    Planned

The assistant proposes the next step, for example an issue or a to-do. Nothing is saved until you approve it.

  6. Planning

    Planned

Drafts of look-ahead programmes and follow-up against the programme, built on the project’s own activities.

  7. Procurement and operations

    Planned

Drafts for procurement and operations, with the same sources and the same approval.

What you can ask today

  1. Find it

One question searches the whole project: documents, folders, RFIs, issues, estimates, programmes, meetings, risks and to-dos. Every hit is a link.

  2. The latest revision

Ask for a document by number or name and get its latest revision and where it is filed.

  3. What’s new

The latest uploads, and what a folder holds, without clicking through the tree.

  4. How do I do this in Fidrel?

Ask how something is done and get directions, with the names your own menus use.

  5. Regulations and planning

Ask about the regulations, consents and contracts of the trade. The answer says which country it applies to and who decides the individual case.

  6. Costs and timescales

Get a first estimate of a cost or a construction period, with assumptions and ranges. It is stated as an estimate, never as a figure from your project.

Where it stops

  • It reads the text of PDF files that have a text layer, of Word files and of text files. It does not yet read scanned pages, pictures, DWG drawings or IFC models.
  • It answers questions about construction, infrastructure and facilities management, about Fidrel and about your own project, not about anything else.
  • General answers on regulations, costs and timescales are guidance and estimates, not a binding answer. Check them against today’s regulations and prices.
  • Bidders have no assistant in the project they bid for, and other bidders’ bids and prices are never within the assistant’s reach.
  • It can be wrong. That is why answers about your project show their sources: open them.
