Cost & finance
Variations & deviations
Record variations – additions, omissions and alterations – with amounts, programme impact and supporting documents, and follow them from draft to close-out. Non-conformances get a responsible person, a due date and a corrective action. Each stays linked to the question, drawing or estimate line it came from.

Variations with amounts and status
A variation has a number, type, description, responsible person and due date, plus estimated, quoted and approved cost. Its status runs from draft to closed, and only the project’s administrators can approve or reject it.
From question to variation
Create a variation straight from an RFI, an issue, a non-conformance or an estimate line, and the title, location and responsible person carry over. Link documents, drawings and invoices, and see every edit, field by field, in the history.
Effect on the budget
A variation linked to a budget item appears as an expected change in cost tracking. When it is approved under Project finances, the amount is included in the current budget.
On site
Non-conformances with photos, straight from site
Spot it, photograph it and raise it in one go. “Take photo” opens the phone’s camera, and the non-conformance has a location, a responsible person and a due date before you leave the spot. If it needs to become a variation, you create it from the non-conformance.

A non-conformance is given a number, location, description, photos, responsible person, due date, priority and corrective action and is tracked from open to closed. On a phone, Take photo opens the camera, and the responsible person gets a notification in Fidrel.
